NOTES
This rug has some earlier professional repairs. It is a happy little rug full of colourful stars, medallions/rossettes and stylised tulips in a beautiful deep blue background with interesting abrashes.
The main border in a natural light brown colour is offset by two minor madder red borders. The use of yellow in the minor borders as well as the central medallion in the main field gives the rug a strong presence.
